The British Columbia Seniors Living Association - BCSLA

The British Columbia Seniors Living Association began in 2003 (originally called the British Columbia Retirement Communities Association) as a voluntary organization of 10 owners/operators of private retirement communities who wanted to ensure that there was adequate representation of the industry in BC. Over the last 16 years, the membership has grown to over 175 (independent and assisted living) retirement communities, as well as many suppliers of goods and services to the industry.[1] The BCSLA’s role in the BC retirement living industry is multi-faceted and includes leadership, advocacy for its members, and education of consumers, members, and stakeholders.
